This 1988 Diplomat is named Traveler, after
General Robert E Lee's horse, since its owner is an avid Civil War re-enactor. This car is also in the Registry,
in the 1st Quarter 2004 section.

My dad found this and passed it along. An early Diplomat is the hapless participant in a photographic joke. It *was* pretty funny. |
