My name is Mandy and I have some pics of my 82 Dodge Diplomat in-line six
cylinder that I want to show you. It's a bit rusted but it's cool to drive. I bought it a
year ago it's in good condition. I know I have to do something about the rust and the bump on the right side of
the car. |

Back in I'd say around 1993-94, Woolworth's and other type discount stores sold a Diplomat / Gran Fury plastic car with a red light bar, and "State Police" decals, or "Fire Chief" decals on it. It was made by Bergman Mfg. and Trading co. in Montgomery Illinois (item # 4603), for a short time only. Since I started getting into the site more, and I have this car, I took pictures of it to show you and the rest of our M-body brothers. The pictures are of the original one (with the generic "State Police") decals, and the other one I modified with New York State Police decals on it (from another old model kit I had). I also painted the tail lights (red with the white backup light, because the model was just plain black, and I also painted the black mid-speaker on the light bar because the model was just straight red). I have since tried to call the co. that originally made them, and the car has has long been extinct. I hope you enjoy the pictures In between the photos on the left is Jerry's real, full-size Diplomat. |

This is a 1978 Dodge Diplomat. I bought it from my 88 year old neighbor. It
only has 39,000 original miles. It has power everything and I couldn't ask
for a better car. |

Clay Stinn sent in this photo of his 85 Dip, which boasts a 111 MPH quarter mile in 11.96 seconds. One fast Dip! |

I registered my car on your site, and I wanted to send in a picture as well. I couldn't believe your site! I love my car, and will never get rid of it! There is a foil sunblock in my windshield...I was too tired at the moment to look for my keys to open up the door. *laughing* |
